FUNDRAISING

Just Walk is an exciting sponsored UK charity walk for anyone wanting to fundraise for the charity of their choice. This fundraising walk is open to charities and anyone who is keen to get their walking boots on and hike for charity and the 60 kilometre is our hardest, but most rewarding challenge!

Rob Lloyd is going to walk the 60 kilmetres for 3H Fund. He is aiming to raise as much money as he can and anyone can sponsor him on www.justgiving.com

VOLUNTEERING

Cambridge university's careers service's held a 'Work to Change the World' event, on Thursday 4th February - featuring a wide variety of both ethical careers opportunities and a wide variety of summer schemes.

GRANT PROGRAMME

REMEMBER A CHARITY

You may have heard that 3H FUND has joined with over 140 other charities to form Remember A Charity consortium www.rememberacharity.org.uk which aims to encourage more people to include their favourite cause in their will.

Legacies are a vital source of income for charities, but currently this is generated by only a small percentage of the UK population. However, the good news is that comprehensive research commissioned by Remember a Charity in 2008 revealed the 35% of people would consider including a gift to charity after providing for their family and friends.

If you would like more information please visit the  Remember A Charity website or contact us in the 3H FUND office and we will give you details.

One of our volunteers is appearing in the media at the moment after taking part in a "Video Wills" Story.

The story is based on market research, recently commissioned by Remember A Charity, that revealed over half of the UK population would be interested in creating a video to explain their formal written last will and testament, and to leave a final personal message to their loved ones. Whilst also remembering their favourite charity or charities.
