Holidays for Disabled People
Respite for Carers

Helping disabled people enjoy holidays for more than 30 years

3H Fund is a charity that makes it possible for disabled people, children and adults, to have memorable and fulfilling holidays.  Thanks to valued and continuous contributions from grant giving trusts, the business community and individuals, we are able to subsidise a range of group holidays for physically disabled people accompanied by volunteer carers.

Not only are we able to give the disabled person a chance to have a unique and enjoyable experience, the carer or family of that person also gets a break from the routine of caring. This is what makes 3H Fund such a popular charity and why our guests come back year after year.

In addition, when funds are available, we provide grants to families on low income with a physically or mentally disabled dependant to have a modest holiday in the UK.

3H Fund is committed to conducting our business in a socially responsible manner, ensuring the protection of our employees, volunteers and guests. We comply with the Disability and Discrimination Act 1995 and with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.

How to help

Our main challenges today are to ensure that we generate donations to continue our invaluable work and to recruit volunteers to assist our disabled guests while on holiday.

Donations

Thank you to all those people who have kindly donated to 3H Fund in ths very difficult climate. It has been a tough year. We know it will be difficult in 2010, so please stay with us and be part of our continuing success story.

Volunteers

We are continually looking for volunteers to assist us on our holidays. Giving your time is probably the most valuable contribution anyone can make to 3H Fund. By sparing just one week per year you could make such a difference to so many lives. It is a personally rewarding experience that you will never forget and hopefully you'll want to do again and again.
